UNDERSTAND THE WHY.
CREATE THE RIGHT PLAN.
SUPPORT THE JOURNEY.
As a dog behaviourist supporting the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas, I help you understand what's really going on for your dog and what may be contributing to their behaviour.
Together, we'll create a practical, personalised plan that supports the whole dog — not just the behaviour you want to change.
REAL ANSWERS. CLEAR PLAN. ONGOING SUPPORT.

Every dog is different, and behaviour rarely happens in isolation. I support owners with a wide range of behaviour concerns, helping them understand what may be driving the behaviour and what they can do next.
If you're are struggling with something that is not listed here please get in touch. Behaviour is complex, the first step to understanding your dog starts with a discovery call.

Complex behaviour issues
Reactivity, fear, anxiety, hyper-vigilant and aroused, trouble settling, destructive, or repetitive behaviours.
IS THIS THE RIGHT SUPPORT FOR YOU AND YOUR DOG?
My behaviour support is designed for owners who want to understand what is really happening for their dog — particularly when behaviour is complex, persistent or hasn't responded to approaches you've already tried.
Whole dog not considered
Previous support may have focused purely on the behaviour, not the bigger picture.
Sudden or unpredictable
Sudden changes in behaviour, or is the behaviour unpredictable, out of the blue mood swings?
Tried Training, but nothing works
Quick fix equipment, training from YouTube, training with a dog trainer, but nothing has worked or progress is stuck.
Want expert guidance
You want a personalised plan rather than generic exercises — with professional guidance and support from someone who takes the time to understand your dog.
You don't have to work it out alone. I'm here to help you understand what's happening and find a way forward.
EVERY DOG IS DIFFERENT. SO IS THE JOURNEY

Behaviour doesn't have a one-size-fits-all solution. Your discovery call helps me understand what your dog needs.
THE FIRST STEP TO
UNDERSTANDING THE WHY
A behaviour consultation is the first step towards understanding what’s really going on for your dog. We look beyond the behaviour itself to explore their history, experiences, environment, health and individual needs, helping us understand what may be contributing and create the right plan moving forward.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE CONSULTATION

Around 90 minutes - dedicated to understanding your dog.

We'll explore your dog's history, health, lifestyle, relationships, training and behaviour, looking at the bigger picture to understand what's contributing to what you're seeing.

Your consultation takes place in your dog's natural environment, where I can observe them in a familiar setting and see how they respond within their everyday life.

By the end of the consultation, I'll help you understand the WHY behind your dog's behaviour, discuss realistic goals and expectations, and explain the most appropriate way forward.
What you'll receive afterwards
Following your consultation, you'll receive a detailed behaviour report and proposed treatment plan based on my findings and recommendations. Your treatment plan is not an instruction manual but a summary of the ongoing behaviour journey we have chosen as well as practical management skills you can put into place immediately to help support your dog while we work towards a longer - term change.

WHOLE DOG BEHAVIOUR CONSULTATION

WHEN PAIN IS A PROBLEM
Dogs communicate through their behaviour, body language, vocal displays and how they go about their day-to-day activities. For some dogs, displaying signs of discomfort does not involve reacting to being touched or presenting lameness in a limb. As a Dynamic Dog Practitioner trained to spot behaviour changes and functional changes in dogs that may signal pain, I can clearly see when a dog is communicating discomfort. These dogs tend to be the cases where owners have tried everything, or have hit brick walls with progress. It is often cases too where thier seems to be no obvious trigger or pattern to the change in the dog's behaviour. This can be very frustrating for the owner, as all they want is to understand their dog. During your Whole Dog Assessment, if I feel pain is a problem, we will discuss this in detail, and I will advise a full DD investigation.
