How much do your services cost?
Prices vary depending on the assessment and level of support required. The relevant service pages explain the available options and their prices.If you’re unsure which service is appropriate, book a Discovery Call. We can discuss your circumstances and the most suitable starting point before you commit to an assessment.
How do I pay?
Payment arrangements will be explained when your service is booked. Payment is handled through the arrangements provided at booking, and any applicable payment terms will be confirmed before you proceed.Please refer to your booking information and terms and conditions for the details relevant to your service.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
I understand that unexpected things happen, and sometimes appointments need to change. However, arranging appointments also involves planning travel, session time and, where needed, the involvement of other people or dogs.Please refer to the Canine Reactive Terms and Conditions for the notice periods, cancellation arrangements and any applicable fees. If you need to change an appointment, contact me as soon as possible.
What happens if bad weather affects outdoor sessions?
Some sessions take place outdoors, and weather conditions can affect whether a session can go ahead safely and effectively.If conditions are unsuitable, I will consider the safety and welfare of everyone involved, including the dogs and any supporting volunteers. Any cancellation or rearrangement will be handled in line with the Canine Reactive Terms and Conditions.Please note that changes to appointments can affect the wider schedule, so I cannot guarantee that every requested alternative date will be available.
Do you offer online consultations?
Yes, in fact sometimes this is essential. Cases where aggression towards humans is the main concern I will recommend a virtual consultation. I can also support owners outside of my catchment area via virtual Consulting, and I have had clients in France and america. The type of consultation you need will be discussed during the discovery call.
Can I contact you between sessions?
The arrangements for communication and support between sessions depend on the service you have booked. I’ll explain what is included in your coaching journey and how best to contact me.If your dog’s behaviour changes significantly or there is an urgent safety or health concern, please let me know where appropriate and contact your veterinary practice or another relevant professional if needed. My service is not an emergency response service.
What is a stooge dog?
A stooge dog is a carefully selected dog who helps us create controlled training opportunities during behaviour sessions. They allow us to work on specific skills and help your dog practise around another dog at a suitable distance and level of difficulty.Stooge dogs are chosen and managed according to the needs of the session, with the welfare and safety of all dogs being a priority. They are not simply dogs for your dog to practise meeting; their role is to help us create appropriate learning opportunities.
Do I need to find a stooge dog for my session?
No. You do not need to find or provide a stooge dog yourself.Where a stooge dog would be helpful, I will arrange an appropriate dog and handler for the session. This will be discussed and planned according to your dog's needs, the goals we are working towards and the availability of suitable stooge teams.Not every session requires a stooge dog, and we will never introduce one simply for the sake of it. Your dog's progress, comfort and safety will guide our decisions.
